Barracks Ledger
an evidence layer for military unaccompanied housing

GovAMS builds evidence, not assertions.

Barracks Ledger is a GovAMS product: an evidence and compliance layer for US military unaccompanied housing, built for the offices that have to show the work.

GovAMS

GovAMS is a small business that builds evidence and compliance software for the government side of military real property and housing. Its statutory machinery — effective-dated thresholds, the compliance clock, the hash chain, the reconciliation primitive — lives in one shared library, pinned by version and imported, never copied, so a deadline is computed the same way everywhere it appears.

We are pre-revenue and we say so. There is no past performance to cite. What exists instead is a working, deployed platform and a body of original, citable domain research built on primary sources.

Public sources only

  • The platform holds public data only: statutes, budget books, oversight reports, federal award records and the public real-property inventory, each retrieved with a date and a digest.
  • Controlled unclassified information and a sponsor's records never enter this environment.
  • The platform runs air-gapped by design: no tile server, no content delivery network, no external call. This site reaches outside only for its typefaces (Google Fonts), and for nothing else — no analytics, no trackers.

Government side only

  • Barracks Ledger is sold to the government. It is never sold to a privatized-housing operator, or to any party whose performance the ledger would verify.
  • It is not an official record of any Department, and nothing on this site speaks for one.
  • People named on this site or on the platform are quoted verbatim from published sources. We do not characterise them, and a quotation implies no endorsement.
